Delete Your Account
You can request permanent deletion of your Service Connect account and associated personal data at any time. Please read the information below before proceeding.
Important: Active bookings should be completed or cancelled before requesting account deletion. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1 — In the App (Recommended)
Open Service Connect and navigate to:
Account tab > Settings > Delete My Account
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your deletion request.
Option 2 — Request by Email
Can't delete your account in the app? Fill out the form below and we'll process your request within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
Upon confirmation of your deletion request, we will delete or anonymise:
- Your profile and account information
- Messages sent through the platform
- Transaction history visible in your account
- Reviews associated with your account
- Service listings you have published (as a provider)
- Push notification tokens and preferences
What May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained where required for legal, tax, and regulatory compliance, including:
- Transaction and payment records required by Irish tax and accounting law
- Records necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms
- Anonymised or aggregated data that cannot identify you
Retained records are kept only for as long as legally required and are not used for marketing or profiling purposes.
Processing Time
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days of confirmation. You will receive an email confirmation once your account has been deleted.
